Two people in critical condition after a school bus and tractor trailer collide

Bell County 1/17/2012 09:22 PM GMT (TransWorldNews)

Twenty-nine
students and three adults were sent to the hospital Tuesday morning after a
school bus and tractor trailer collide. Two of the accident victims are in
critical condition.

The
accident occurred around 7:30 am at the intersection of FM 93 and Old 95 in
Little River.

Police
say that the a Lowes delivery truck was traveling south bound on Old 95, the
bus carrying the school children was traveling on FM 93. The tractor trailer
failed to yield and ran the stop sign. The truck clipped the bus causing an
accident and tipping the bus over on the side. The driver of the truck was
cited for traffic violations.

Police
said that it was very foggy and could be the reason the truck driver did not
see the stop sign.

The
bus driver and another student were critically injured. Twenty-eight of the
students and two adults on the bus were also injured but they are not in
serious condition.

The
family of the critically injured persons can hire a truck accident attorney to recover the costs they incurred.

A
truck accident attorney is aware of
how devastating these accidents can be and have the skills to represent the
victims involved. When a truck accident lawyer is able to prove negligence they make it possible for the injured
and their families to receive just compensation.
