Elkhart, ID- A bizarre accident between a catering truck and
a passenger vehicle left a trail of food in a local theatre parking lot.
Elkhart police responded to the accident scene and found a
catering truck on its side just steps away from the entrance to the Encore
Theatre.
According to police the driver of the catering truck clipped
the rear end of a vehicle as they both traveled northbound on Cassopolis
Street.
The catering truck then jumped the curb of the theatre
parking lot and hydroplaned on its side, leaving a long line of hors d’oeuvres
behind it.
Customer at nearby restaurant rushed to help the truck
driver who was not injured. The truck however sustained significant damage. Fortunately
there were no cars in the parking lot.
Accidents are unintentional, but are often caused by
inattention or distraction of a driver. Large trucks can cause a lot of damage
to property or serious personal injury and sometimes death. A truck accident attorney can help the
victims of these collisions recover the cost associated with their medical care
or property replacement. A truck accident lawyer wants to make sure none
of the costs come out the victim’s pocket and they receive all the funds they
need.
When a truck accident lawyer is working on a case, the victims can rest with the assurance that
they will receive the maximum amount of compensation allowable by law.
