Larry Stout, owner of Bouari Clinic NW and regional developer for Washington and Oregon, believes in supporting our nation’s veterans. While the staff in the three clinics opened around the Seattle area in February is small, one third are former members of the armed services, and Stout hopes to employ more in the future. All came from posting jobs through Operation Military Family.
Stout learned about Operation Military Family (OMF) when his general manager Elaine Morse became acquainted with the founder and president of OMF – Michael J.R. Schindler. Schindler posted the job openings on The Military Wire. The Seattle area is home to naval bases at Bremerton and Whidbey Island and Joint Base Lewis-McCord (Army and Air Force), as well as National Guard, so many veterans stay in the area after retiring or being discharged from service. Stout received resumes from the Joint Base and National Guard.
“Veterans make excellent employees. They are highly trained, have a lot of self-discipline and are very responsible,” says Stout. “They show up for work and do their job. They don’t sit around but instead will take charge and keep themselves busy. They are pro-active and aggressive.”
He adds, “Veterans actively pursue excellence. They are able to see the big picture. And, because of their military training, they are very much team players. They will work with you to accomplish a common objective.”
Looking ahead, there are veterans benefit programs that assist veterans in starting small businesses, notes Stout. His goal is to work with veterans and the loan programs as Bouari Clinic NW expands so that veterans can eventually own and run their own franchises.
Bouari Clinic NW has clinics in Bellevue, Tukwila and Lynnwood to serve the Seattle metropolitan area. All are offering a Grand Opening special – the 30-day program, normally $649, is discounted to $499, and the 60-day program will be available for $599, discounted from $749.
Bouari Clinic is a national franchise that specializes in weight loss and improved health for its clients. The program – which is less expensive than some other major providers – was developed by Dr. Carol Ann Chaney, RN, PhD in Nutrition, and Emile Bouari. Dr. Chaney has spent 17 years researching and working with clients on weight loss and their body’s relationship with various foods.
Since 2007, Bouari Clinic has helped thousands of clients lose weight through an all natural, reliable and effective method for fighting obesity. The program does not require surgery, there are no pre-packaged foods to buy, and it is not an exercise program. The program involves a nutrient-dense diet using foods that can be found in any grocery store. A comprehensive support team is available.
Bouari Clinic NW is staffed with professionals that include LPNs (licensed practical nurses) and Health Consultants who will assist each client throughout their entire process.
Operating hours for all locations of Bouari Clinic NW will be Tuesday & Thursday 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM; Wednesday & Friday 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM; and Saturday 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
First time consultations are free and include an assessment of the client’s weight loss goals, general health (including current weight and measurements) and medications. Since the program uses all-natural supplements, only women who are pregnant should not attempt the diet. Bouari Clinic NW will set new clients up on the plan and provide full instructions and supplements on the spot. Clients will be able to contact their Health Consultants as often as they need to for support during their diet experience.
Bouari’s 3-phase program includes a unique 21-day phase that helps the body adjust to the new weight. This makes it more likely that clients will be able to keep the weight off.
