Bobbi Kristina Brown is making good on her vow to carry on her famous mother’s legacy. Less than two months after Whitney Houston’s death, Bobbi Kristina has landed her first gig in the entertainment business. The 19-year-old is rumored to have been cast in the TBS show For Better or Worse.
No details on Bobbi Kristina’s character have been released, but a source says it will be a recurring role. The sitcom is filmed in Atlanta, where Bobbi Kristina is currently living, and is produced by Tyler Perry.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this month, Bobbi Kristina revealed she planned to start a career in the entertainment business. "I have to carry on the legacy," she said. “We're going to do the singing thing. Some acting, some dancing. It’s a lot of pressure, but she prepared me for it."
Houston was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said she died of accidental drowning with cocaine and heart disease as contributing factors. Houston was 48.
