Ricki Lake and fiancé Christian Evans eloped over the weekend. The couple exchanged vows Sunday in southern California. Lake tells People magazine the secret wedding was “a beautiful moment I will never forget.”

"I wasn't anxious or nervous. I was really relaxed and excited,” she adds.

Lake, 43, and Evans, 40, announced their engagement on Twitter last August after about 1 year of dating. This is Lake’s second marriage. The Dancing with the Stars alum divorced her first husband, artist Rob Sussman, in 2005 after 9 years of marriage. Lake and Sussman have two sons together, 14-year-old Milo and 10-year-old Owen.

Lake is set to return to TV this summer for her own talk show. The Ricki Lake Show is set to premiere on September 10.
