Dennis Quaid and wife Kimberly Buffington may not be splitting after all. Buffington withdrew her divorce petition on April 26, a Texas court clerk confirms. Neither Quaid nor Buffington has commented.

Buffington filed for divorce in early March. In court documents filed in Travis County, the former real estate agent said her 8 year marriage to Quaid had become "insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities." She sought spousal support and requested that all property be equally divided. Quaid asked that Buffington be denied spousal support and receive nothing in their settlement.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2004, has been sharing custody of their 4-year-old twins, Thomas and Zoe.

This is Quaid’s third marriage. He was previously married to P.J. Soles and Meg Ryan.
