Country music star Jake Owen and model Lacey Buchanan became husband and wife today in a romantic wedding ceremony on a Florida beach. Owen tells People magazine they exchanges vows at dawn because “it's symbolic of the dawn of a new day and starting our new life together.” Buchanan wore an Amsale gown and Owen sported a linen outfit. They both went barefoot.

Only family members attended the ceremony, which was held in Vero Beach. Buchanan’s sister served as the maid of honor while Owen’s twin brother served as the best man. The wedding reception was held at the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa.

The couple began dating in early 2011 after Buchanan, 22, appeared in the music video for Owen’s single “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.” Owen, 30, popped the question last month at a charity event at Vero Beach High School, his alma mater.
