Rockwell Collins' Venue, the leading cabin management and HD entertainment system for business aircraft with more than 140 installations, will be installed by Jet Aviation St. Louis, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, for the first time on a Bombardier Global Express XRS. The work will be completed during a major overhaul event.
David Loso, Avionics Sales Manager, Jet Aviation St. Louis, said, "This aircraft will undergo its 8C inspection and the client has elected to refurbish the interior, paint the aircraft and have the Venue system installed in conjunction with the inspection."
"Venue is the ideal solution to meet the high-end cabin requirement that a Global operator expects. Not only is high definition desired, but operators want a reliable cabin system that is built to meet today's needs and architected to enable future insertion of new technologies." said Dave Austin, Vice President and General Manager, Cabin Systems for Rockwell Collins.
Venue is the industry's first complete, HD cabin management system for business aircraft that includes the features and functionality of the most advanced home entertainment systems and executive suites.
