SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI-The Springfield Missouri dentist crowd of Barnett-Davis Dental Group welcomed a new associate, Dr. Nick Matthews, to the general and cosmetic dentistry practice this month.

"We're pleased to have found a highly-skilled professional who shares our commitment to provide the best possible oral health care and exceptional customer service for our patients," said Dr. Tracy Davis.

They are also extending office hours to offer their patients an even more flexible appointment schedule. The new office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On Tuesdays, they are open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

He is from the area and graduated from Republic High School and Drury University. He went to the University of Missouri-Kansas City to earn his Doctor in Dental Surgery and graduated with honors.

"Dr. Matthews' training, his compassionate chairside personality and his dedication to the practice of dentistry will be a big benefit to our patients," said Dr. Marc Barnett, who is a Springfield MO invisalign expert.

Matthews was awarded the American Association of Endodontists Student Achievement Award, the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award for exhibiting leadership and dedication to the advancement of dental literature and the Dentsply International Merit Award in Removable Prosthodontics.

"We were impressed with Dr. Matthews' numerous academic achievements, but we saw his heart to serve others with respect and compassion and knew he would be a perfect fit for our practice," said Dr. Kelly Barnett, who provides Springfield MO dentures and offers cosmetic procedures such as veneers and preventive dentistry services like professional teeth cleaning and examinations.
