A rep for Kristin Chenoweth says the actress has been released from a New York hospital where she received treatment Wednesday for minor injuries sustained in an accident on the set of The Good Wife. The rep offered no other details on Chenoweth’s condition.
“Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes,” the rep tells People magazine.
Chenoweth, 43, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital by ambulance Wednesday around 5 p.m. after being struck by lighting equipment. Witnesses told TMZ a strong gust of wind caused the equipment to topple. Chenoweth was knocked to the group and hit her head on the concrete.
CBS released a statement confirming the accident. “All of us at the studio and the show are thinking about Kristin and wishing her a quick recovery,” the network said.
Chenoweth will star next opposite Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell in the action comedy Hit & Run.
