Ruby Sparks, starring Paul Dano, Zoe Kazan, Elliott Gould, Chris Messina and Annette Bening, opens in theaters Wednesday, July 25. The sci-fi/romance tells the story of a struggling young author who creates his ideal woman on paper, only to find the character he named Ruby has come to life.

The film has a runtime of 1 hour 44 minutes and is rated R for some sexual references, some drug use and language.
