ParaNorman, starring Kodi Smit-McPhee, Tucker Albrizzi, Casey Affleck, Anna Kendrick and Christopher Mintz-Plasse, opens in theaters Friday, August 17. The animated adventure film centers on a boy who must protect his town from an old curse that prompts attacks by zombies, ghosts and witches.

The film has a runtime of 1 hour 36 minutes and is rated PG for scary action and images, thematic elements, some rude humor and language.
