The Day, starring Shawn Ashmore, Ashley Bell, Cory C. Hardrict, Dominic Monaghan and Shannyn Sossamon, opens in theaters Wednesday, August 29. The thriller follows five apocalypse survivors as they fight for their lives.

The film has a runtime of 1 hour 25 minutes and is rated R for pervasive language, strong bloody violence and some nudity.
