After Danielle wins Head of Household, Dan immediately begins working his magic to make her do everything he says. He approaches her about nominations, telling her that it will be best for her to put him on the chopping block alongside her target Ian. Dan reasons that it will make Shane feel safe.
At the nomination ceremony, Danielle does exactly as Dan says. She tells the guys that she put them up because they both nominated her in the past. Shane is happy that Danielle kept him off the block.
Meanwhile, things get heated between Britney and Frank at the jury house after Britney defends Dan's dirty gameplay. Frank claims he remained loyal throughout the game, but Britney slams him for breaking their deal to not put her on the chopping block.
Back in the Big Brother house, Ian, Danielle, Shane and Dan compete in a memory/puzzle Power of Veto competition. They must match the houseguest pictures with clues about past events in the house. Ian is the fist to buzz in, but his puzzle is wrong and he can't figure out which answer he should change. Danielle's strategy to take her time pays off. She wins the POV.
Since Dan failed to win the POV, he talks to Danielle about using the POV to take him off the block. That will give him the power to evict who he wants. Danielle agrees to make the move after Dan promises to protect Shane and evict Ian.
At the POV ceremony, Danielle saves Dan and nominates Shane. Dan must cast the vote to evict immediately and he shocks everyone by sending Shane to the jury house.
