Singer and TV star Andy Williams died this week at his Branson, Missouri home. Williams’ rep tells Fox News the 84-year-old battled bladder cancer for the past year. He passed away Tuesday night. Williams is survived by his second wife, Debbie, and his three children from his first marriage to French dancer Claudine Longet.

Williams had a string of hit songs in the late 50s and early 60s, including “Butterfly,” “Are You Sincere” and “Can’t Get Used to Losing You,” but it was his rendition of “Moon River” that put him on the map. He hosted The Andy Williams Show on NBC from 1962 to 1971 and completed a host of successful tours. Williams earned 5 Grammy nominations over his lengthy career and recorded 18 gold and three platinum records.

Williams continued performing in his later years. In 2001, he told the AP he planned to “keep going until I get to the point where I can't get out on stage.” He stayed true to his world and continued performing even after announcing his cancer diagnosis in 2011.
