Sinister, starring Ethan Hawke, James Ransone and Vincent D'Onofrio, opens in theaters Friday, October 12. The horror film centers on a crime novelist who accidentally unleashes a supernatural being in his new home after discovering footage that relates to the murder of a family.  

The film has a runtime of 1 hour 49 minutes and is rated R for some terror and disturbing violent images.
