Singer Sean Kingston is in “critical but stable condition” following a weekend jet ski accident, a rep for Epic Records said in a statement Tuesday. According to an insider, Kingston sustained a broken jaw and fractured wrist in the crash. His passenger, 23-year-old Cassandra Sanchez, was also hospitalized with injuries, but details on her condition have not been released.
Kingston and Sanchez were riding a Ski Doo Sunday night in Miami when they crashed into the bridge between Palm Island and MacArthur Causeway. The cause of the crash remains unclear and is under investigation.
Sanchez recently told TMZ she will not press charges against the “Beautiful Girls” singer. "I know this whole thing was just an accident. I won't be pressing any type of charges or hiring a lawyer. Sean is a good guy,” Sanchez said.
Kingston released his last album, “Tomorrow,” in 2009. He is currently working on a third album.
