June 2011 pending real estate sales reached 3,650 units in Miami-Dade County, up 4 percent from 3,508 in May 2011, according to data released Thursday by the Miami Association of Realtors. Pending real estate sales in Broward County rose from 3,275 units in May to 3,381 units.

Compared to June 2010, pending real estate sales are up 33 percent in Miami-Dade and 24.4 percent in Broward, according to a report by the Miami Herald.

The total number of pending home sales, which includes contracts signed before June 2011, stands at 12,014 in Miami-Dade County and 8,413 in Broward County - both up from last year’s totals.
