Oregon boy dies in three-car accident

Beaverton 1/09/2012 08:21 PM GMT (TransWorldNews)

A ten-year old boy was killed in three-car accident that
sent his mother to the hospital in critical condition.

The accident occurred Sunday night around 8pm on Canyon
Road. Police say that an SUV crossed the center line and side-swiped a Toyota
Prius and then collided with an Acura sedan.

The ten-year old was in the Acura and died on the scene. All
the occupants which included the deceased boy, his 15 year old brother and
mother had to be extricated from the vehicle. The 15 year-old was taken to the
hospital with cuts and bruises, but his mother was listed in critical
condition.

The impact of the crash sheared off the left front wheel of
the SUV. When police arrived all the occupants of the SUV were outside the
vehicle and did not help authorities identify the driver. They eventually
cooperated and police determined that the driver was intoxicated. She was later
arrested and charged.

Only the occupants of the Acura were injured.

An accident attorney
would not have any trouble assigning fault in this accident. Driving while
intoxicated shows clear negligence and the driver can be held responsible for
their actions. With the help of an accident attorney the victims of these tragedies will be able to seek a sense of
justice for the pain they must endure.

An accident lawyer
will make certain the victims and their families are awarded just compensation.
