Cougar Town Filming Suspended as Courteney Cox Deals with “Family Matter”

Production on Courteney Cox’s ABC sitcom Cougar Town has been suspended while the actress attends to a “private family matter.”

“We can confirm production on Cougar Town has been temporarily shut down in order for Courteney to deal with a private family matter,” says an ABC rep.

Cox, who is married to actor David Arquette, has not commented. The nature of the “family matter” was not disclosed.

Cougar Town also stars Christa Miller, Busy Phillips, Brian Van Holt, Dan Byrd, Ian Gomez and Josh Hopkins.
