Hydroxycut Recall Announced by FDA after Reports of Liver Damage Associated with Weight Loss Product

The
Food and Drug Administration has announced a complete recall of all 14
Hydroxycut products, a popular weight loss pill, following reports of liver
damage and other serious health problems associated with the product.
Hydroxycut
was among the most used dietary supplements on the market with an estimated 90 percent
of the market but after health issues tied to the product surfaced the Canadian
manufacturer ordered the nationwide recall.
At
least one death has been attributed to the use of Hydroxycut, a product that
was readily available in grocery stores and pharmacies.
