Kanye West Headed to Rehab
Atlanta, GA 9/28/2009 12:07 AM GMT (TransWorldNews)
Kanye West is reportedly planning to check in to rehab. Sources
say the rapper, who sparked controversy earlier this month after he interrupted
Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech at the VMAs, has a drinking problem
and is planning to seek help in January.
“His drinking is getting worse. When he has too much he
can be mean in obnoxious. If he doesn’t get help soon things could spiral out of
control,” a source says of West, who was spotted at the VMAs carrying around a
bottle of alcohol.
The 32-year-old is allegedly planning to check into rehab
after he finishes his Fame Kills tour with Lady Gaga in January. “Kanye doesn’t
want to spend time in rehab but knows he needs help and is taking steps in the
right direction,” the insider adds.
