Zions Bancorp (NASDAQ: ZION) reports Q3 Loss of $1.41, 19 cents worse than the analyst estimate of ($1.22). Zions Bancorporation is a financial holding company. The Company provides a range of banking and related services through its banking and other subsidiaries, primarily in Utah, California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Idaho, Washington and Oregon. As of December 31, 2008, Zions Bancorporation, together with its subsidiaries, owned and operated eight commercial banks with a total of 513 domestic branches.
Nara Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: NARA) fell 5.24% to $8.50 as it has commenced an offering of approximately $70 million of its common stock in an underwritten public offering through Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. The Company intends to grant the underwriter an option to purchase up to an additional 15% of common stock sold in the offering to cover over-allotments, if any.
