Xerox Corporation (NYSE:XRX) surges 5.82% to $8 on 13.89 million shares after the company said that it will deliver a 25 percent reduction in total GHG emissions by 2012 from a 2002 baseline, according to the company’s 2009 Report on Global Citizenship. Xerox Corporation is engaged in developing, manufacturing, marketing, servicing and financing a range of document equipments, software, solutions and services.
Micron Technology, Inc. (NYSE:MU) jumps up 5.41% to $7.01 on 10.24 million shares. The stock touched an intraday high and low of $7.06 and $6.76 respectively. So far the stock jumped over 33% in last six months. Micron Technology, Inc. is a global manufacturer and marketer of semiconductor devices, principally dynamic random access memory and Nandi Flash memory.
Alcatel-Lucent (ADR) (NYSE:ALU) soars 6.23% to $3.92 on 10.05 million shares after the company today announced that the Alcatel-Lucent TeleHealth Manager, a secure and reliable remote patient monitoring solution, has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for marketing in the United States. Alcatel Lucent provides product offerings that enable service providers, enterprises and governments worldwide, to deliver voice, data and video communication services to end users.
