Cheryl Burke Headed to Broadway

Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke is reportedly headed to Broadway. According a source, Burke is in talks to star as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago.

“It’s always been a dream of Cheryl’s to perform on Broadway. She’s excited to show off her other talents besides being a good dancer. She’s been vocally trained and she has a great voice,” the insider tells People magazine.

Burke’s stint on Broadway would not affect her position on DWTS as it will take place between the current season of the show and season 10.

Burke, 25, competed on the current season of DWTS with former U.S. House of Representatives Majority leader Tom DeLay. They dropped out of the competition after DeLay suffered stress fractures in both feet.
