NYSE:ALK) increases 3.62% to $27.49 after Crude-oil futures were down 2% to about $78 a barrel in electronic trading. The Stock hit an intraday high and an intraday low of $27.68 and $26.28 respectively. In the last six months the stock went up over 49%. Alaska Air Group, Inc. is a holding company. It operates through its subsidiaries Alaska Airlines, Inc. and Horizon Air Industries, Inc. The Company provides passenger air service to approximately 25 million passengers per year to nearly 100 destinations.
SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ:SKYW) soars 2.93% to $15.12 after Crude-oil futures were down 2% to about $78 a barrel in electronic trading. The stock hit an intraday high and an intraday low of $15.18 and $14.36 respectively. So far the stock prices went up over 18% in last six months. SkyWest, Inc. through SkyWest Airlines, Inc. and Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Inc., the Company’s wholly owned subsidiaries, offers scheduled passenger service with approximately 2,300 daily departures to 218 destinations in the United States.
