Savvis, Inc. (NASDAQ: SVVS) has announced their Senior Vice President, Managing Director Savvis International, Thomas T. Riley, has received the 2009 Sue M. Cobb Award for Exemplary Diplomatic Service, the only award given by the State Department to a political-appointed Ambassador. Prior to his work as Savvis, Riley was the U.S. Ambassador to Morocco from January 2004 to January 2009. The award was presented to Ambassador Riley by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at a formal awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
