Deere & Company (NYSE:DE) made a new 52-week high at $52.28 and now up 5.43% to $51.835. Deere & Company (John Deere), through its subsidiaries, operates in four business segments. The agricultural equipment segment manufactures and distributes a full line of farm equipment and related service parts. The commercial and consumer equipment segment manufactures and distributes equipment, products and service parts for commercial and residential uses.
Compellent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:CML) made a new high at $22.36. The stock is up 11.29% at $21.88. The stock announced the pricing of its public offering of 3,340,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $19.25 per share. The shares of common stock sold in the offering include 100,000 shares sold by Compellent and 3,240,000 shares sold by existing stockholders. Compellent has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 500,000 shares of common stock at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions, to cover over-allotments, if any. Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated and Piper Jaffray & Co. are acting as joint book-running managers of the offering.
Gammon Gold, Inc. (Public, NYSE:GRS) jumped 0.82% to $11.07. Today the stock made a new 52-week high of $11.39. Gammon Gold, Inc. is engaged in the mining, development, exploration and acquisition of resource properties. The Company owns and operates two producing mines in Mexico, the Ocampo mine in Chihuahua State, and the El Cubo mine in Guanajuato State, and also owns the Guadalupe y Calvo advanced exploration property in Chihuahua State, Mexico.
