Royal Caribbean Announces Debut of Oasis of the Seas With Kick-Off Performance by Rihanna

Royal Caribbean International's (NYSE: RCL) newest cruise ship had announced the highly anticipated Oasis of the Seas made her debut recently, arriving into her home port of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida following a 14 day transatlantic crossing from Turku, Finland. Hundreds were there at the event to welcome the Oasis of the Seas to the United States for the first time. The crowd ranged from RCL's top executives to government officials, residents and media.

In preparation for the ships pre-inaugural festivities, the ship is undergoing the final touches. The festivities will kick off with a performance by pop icon Rihanna on November 19th. Following the festivities the Oasis of the Seas will make a national television premier on ABC's "Good Morning America," from 7:00 am -9:00 am (EST) on November 20th.
