Selena Gomez: I’m Not a Fan of Twilight or New Moon

Like her friend Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez is not a fan of the Twilight series. In an interview with Bonnie Hunt, the Disney actress admits she did not see Twilight and will not see the sequel New Moon.

“I don’t watch them. Sorry, I feel bad…even though I am a teenager,” she said.

Gomez’s dislike for Twilight is not because of her breakup with Taylor Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the series. When asked if she was rooting for Jacob or vampire Edward, played by Robert Pattinson, Gomez opted for Team Jacob.

New Moon, also starring Kristen Stewart, hits theaters November 20.
