After their triumphant return from the Edinburgh Festival with a magnificent five star review, the talented ensemble cast from Oscars College of Performing Arts (Huddersfield, U.K.) will soon make their debut in the United States with the critically acclaimed musical “Egg And Chips For Winston.” Described by Neil Ingram, of the Edinburgh Guide, as a “moving and entertaining piece,” this fascinating musical was written to commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of D-Day and is a tribute to all who fought and served in World War II.

Set in wartime Britain, the musical portrays the true story of Eva Rowland, a retired Salvation Army Officer, who witnessed the highs and lows of World War II. It is not the account of a bystander, but of an active participant fiercely committed to serving God and Country on the Home Front.

The intrinsic music of the production is sung by the immensely talented Emmy Wilde, who was featured on London Weekend Television’s “Sing With A Star” along with tenor Russell Watson.
