Gerard Butler: Jennifer Aniston Rumors Ruined My Reputation

Gerard Butler says rumors he was dating Jennifer Aniston has ruined his reputation. Butler, 40, was linked to Aniston over the summer while they were filming The Bounty.

“I think that it does do your reputation harm if this is happening every week,” Butler says

The actor admits he avoids being seen in public with women so the media can’t star rumors about his love life. “It gets to the stage when you want to go: ‘Don’t come near because then we’ll be having a thing! Stay over there and we maybe can shout to each other,’” he adds.

Butler currently stars in Law Abiding Citizen alongside Jamie Foxx.
