Timberland Brands In-Store Experience with PlayNetwork Music

PlayNetwork Inc. announced today it is providing customized music programs and sound systems that brand the atmosphere of Timberland (NYSE: TBL) stores and reinforce in-store promotions of the famous brand name leather footwear.

Each month PlayNetwork sorts through music by more then 70 special characteristics to assemble a unique blend of branded music for Timberland specialty stores and Timberland outlet stores. In addition, PlayNetwork coordinates with Timberland's marketing team to create music programs that support monthly in-store promotional themes in the specialty stores. For example, by adding world music in with the Timberland branded mix to reinforce a new product, Travel Gear, being featured in the window and in-store displays, Timberland can connect the music to the in-store environment to further enrich the customers’ experience and reinforce the feeling they are trying to convey through imagery.
