Washington, D.C. September 20, 2005 -- Cox, Comcast, Microsoft, Teletrips, the Northern Virginia Technology Council Foundation and the Telework Coalition have joined forces to host a “free” web conference on the importance of Telework in private and public organizations in the Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia areas.
This one-hour web conference, scheduled for Wednesday, September 28th from 9:30-10:30 am Eastern features nationally recognized “thought leaders” including Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA), Sun Microsystems Chairman and CEO, Scott McNealy, Christine Todd Whitman (former US EPA Administrator), and the Chairman of Fairfax County’s Board of Supervisors, Gerry Connolly. These leaders and several other experts will present the many benefits of telework from a triple bottom line perspective – the social, economic and environmental impacts.
