Halle Berry admits she struggled to get pregnant, but 35 negative pregnancy tests later it happened. The 41-year-old mother to be says she and model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry “tried really hard, so it was a lot of staying home and just doing what you do.”
Berry also admits they won’t be stopping at one baby, “Well, there’s just one right now. But we’re hoping right after this one to do it again,” she tells Oprah Winfrey.
“I’m sort of superstitious, so I saved all of the negative [pregnancy] tests in a drawer. Don’t ask! I don’t know why, but I did … After about 35 tests, we finally got a positive test.”
Reports say Berry has received death treats against her unborn baby, and as a result increased her security.
