Bob Barker sued by former employee Deborah Curling for “atmosphere of terror”

Bob Barker is being sued by a former “The Price is Right” employee after she alleges the host created an “atmosphere of terror.” Deborah Curling testified against Barker in a wrong termination lawsuit that was brought up against Barker by a production assistant.
Curling claims before she testified she worked in a “pleasant working environment,” but after she testified against 83-year-old Barker there was an “atmosphere of terror” on the show.
Curling filed the lawsuit Thursday in which she claims she was forced to work in an ‘intolerable’ environment that eventually caused her to quit her job. Curling, who is an African American, says other African Americans were discriminated against.
“Barker created an atmosphere of terror on the show, as a result of which any employee who complained about the working environment or contradicted Barker was fired,” the lawsuit reads.
Barker is no longer the host of ‘The Price is Right.’ He retired earlier this year after 35 years of hosting the hit game show. He was replaced by comedian Drew Carey.
