George Clooney has new $100,000 marriage bet, and new ‘Michael Clayton’ movie

George Clooney’s declaration that he will never marry again has been challenged by actress Michelle Pfeiffer and Nicole Kidman. Clooney declared he would never marry again after his divorce from Talia Balsam, and so far he has been a man of his word.
The bet with Kidman and Pfeiffer went from a 10,000 dollar bet to a 100,000 dollar bet. The way things look now, Clooney could lose the bet. The actor is dating Sarah Larson, and the pair have been spotted everywhere together. Larson has reportedly quit her job to travel with Clooney.
“I bet him he would get married and he keeps inflating the bet from 100 dollars to 100,000 dollars,” says Pfeiffer. “I still think he will, he’s a handsome devil.”
Clooney’s current film, ‘Michael Clayton’ is being called a success. Clooney plays lawyer Michael Clayton who is a ‘janitor’ for his client’s messy situations. He covers up hit and run accidents, corrupted business deals, and even murder. His character comes to a crossroads in his life after things get complicated with trying to fix a clients case.
