Ana Ivanovic Heads into Third Round at Australian Open with Straight Set Win Over Tathiana Garbin

Ana Ivanovic had little trouble getting past Tathiana Garbin on Thursday winning in straight sets 6-0, 6-3 to advance to the third round of the Australian Open.

 

Ivanovic, seeded fourth at Melbourne Park, committed 27 unforced errors in the match but capitalized on the weak serve of Garbin to grab most of her winners. Garbin won just 38 percent of her first serves compared to a 72 percent mark for Ivanovic.
