Christopher Hampton has received an Oscar nomination at the 80^th Academy Awards for Adapted Screenplay for the film “Atonement.”

Hampton will be looking to capture his second Academy Award on Feb. 24; he won in 1988 for Adapted Screenplay for the film “Dangerous Liaisons.”

Joining Christopher Hampton in the list of nominees for Adapted Screenplay are Sarah Polley, “Away from Her”; Ronald Harwood, “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly”; Ethan Coen and Joel Coen, “No Country for Old Men”; and Paul Thomas Anderson, “There Will Be Blood.”

The 80^th Academy Awards will air Feb. 24 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
