Nicole Kidman was rumored to be drinking at the Oscars despite being pregnant. Her rep has now slammed New York Post columnist Cindy Adams who reported that Kidman was drinking wine at the awards ceremony.

“Nicole Kidman most certainly did NOT drink white wine or any other alcoholic beverage backstage. She had water and lemon zinger tea,” says Kidman’s publicist Catherine Olim. “That’s it. I know, I was there with her. I cannot remember the last time that Cindy Adams got anything right. She’s an idiot, and you can quote me.”

Kidman and her husband Keith Urban are expecting their first child together. Kidman has two adopted children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
