Katie Holmes Wants to Be Like Reese Witherspoon

Katie Holmes has allegedly admitted to friends and family that she is unhappy with her career. Holmes has revealed that she wants her acting to be taken seriously and hopes to have a career like Reese Witherspoon's.

Holmes’ husband Tom Cruise has offered to help get her serious roles, but the 29-year-old is determined to do it on her own.

“Katie keeps telling Tom she wants a career like Reese Witherspoon’s,” says an insider. “Tom has offered to make calls to ensure she gets a first refusal on the hot scripts, but Katie insists she wants to achieve success without his help.”
