Jessica Alba Talks Pregnancy and Motherhood

Jessica Alba has opened up about her pregnancy and ideas for motherhood in the new issue of Fit Pregnancy magazine. The actress and fiancé Cash Warren are expecting a baby girl this summer.

Alba admits that she is “so tired” most days but feels “mellowed” by her pregnancy. “At the end of the day I am so tired I cant function or speak and my eyes glaze over, but this pregnancy has seriously mellowed me out, which is nice,” she says. “I’ve been going, going, going, for so long, it feels nice not to take things so seriously.”

The 27-year-old says she plans to discipline her daughter and not try to be her best friend. “I don’t want to be my child’s best friend; I want to be a mom. But I do want my child to come to me when they have problems and need to talk, so it’s going to be about treading that line,” she added.
