Amy Winehouse Cleared of Tuberculosis
Atlanta, GA 6/20/2008 03:52 PM GMT (FINDITT)
Amy Winehouse was tested for tuberculosis during her hospital stay and her rep says the results came back negative. The 24-year-old was hospitalized earlier this week after fainting in her London home.
Winehouse’s rep Chris Goodman tells People magazine that the singer has a chest infection.
“She has a chest infection and she had a routine test for TB, which came back negative,” Goodman told People.
Winehouse is still undergoing tests and it is unclear if she will still perform at Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday party at the end of June. “She would really love to do the show – she always wants to do these things. But she will listen to her doctors,” Goodman adds.
