Olympic Swimmer Eric Shanteau Diagnosed with Testicular Cancer

Olympic swimmer Eric Shanteau has been diagnosed with testicular cancer. The 24-year-old said he discovered he had cancer a week before the Olympic trials. He was given permission by his doctors to compete and he made the team finishing in second place.
Doctors have advised Shanteau to have surgery now, but the Georgia native says he plans to put it off until after the Olympics in Beijing.
