Britney Spears Wants No Contact with Osama Sam Lufti

According to an attorney for Britney Spears, the pop star will not extend a restraining order against her former manager Osama ‘Sam’ Lufti but she still does not want any contact with him.

The temporary restraining order against Lufti was issued earlier this year after Spears’ mom Lynne Spears claimed he drugged the singer and held her hostage in her own home. The order required Lufti to have no contact with Spears and stay at least 250 yards away from her and her home.

“Britney has made clear to everyone that she does not want to be further harassed or contacted in any way by Osama ‘Sam’ Lufti, now or at anytime in the future,” the 26-year-old’s lawyer Samuel D. Ingham said in a statement to The Associated Press.

“If Mr. Lufti makes any future attempt to contact Britney after the temporary conservatorship has concluded, Britney has made clear she will take all appropriate legal action,” Ingham wrote.

Meanwhile, a hearing on Thursday is set to determine if Spears’ father’s conservatorship over her estate will be made permanent. Jamie Spears has been in control of his daughter’s finances since early this year. A court appointed he and a lawyer temporary co-conservators over Spears’ estate after her erratic behavior lead to hospitalization.

Also settled this month was Spears’ custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline. He received full custody of their two sons earlier this year and Spears was only granted visitation rights. The pair settled this month on custody arrangements to avoid a custody trial set for August. In the agreement, Federline retained sole custody of the boys but Spears gets more visitation rights.
