Angelina Jolie Denies Twins Were Conceived Through In Vitro
Atlanta, GA 8/05/2008 07:10 PM GMT (FINDITT)
Angelina Jolie has denied reports that her twins were conceived through in vitro fertilization. The actress tells People magazine that her and partner Brad Pitt had no problem conceiving Vivienne and Knox naturally.
Soon after Jolie gave birth to the babies in France on July 12, reports claimed the couple used fertility treatments to conceive because they were desperate to have another child as soon as possible.
“If they had been conceived through IVF, we would have been happy to discuss it. But we have been very fortunate never to have had fertility problems,” Jolie told People magazine.
Jolie and Pitt also have a 2-year-old biological daughter Shiloh and three adopted children – Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3. This week, sources claim Jolie and Pitt want to adopt a Chinese child orphaned by China’s earthquake in May.
