Britney Spears to Play Stripper in New Movie

Britney Spears has allegedly been offered a role as a stripper named Varla in a remake of the 1965 film ‘Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!.’Sources say film maker Quentin Tarantino, who is known for producing ‘Kill Bill’ and ‘Pulp Fiction,’ thinks Spears will be perfect for the role.

“Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant. She’s delighted. She thinks it could turn her career around. It is perfect Tarantino material. He wanted to get Britney first. She’s playing the most important character,” said an insider.

Meanwhile, Spears recently announced she is back in the recording studio to record a follow-up album to 2007’s ‘Blackout.’ The 26-year-old singer is said to be back on track after a rough two years. Her erratic behavior earlier this year lead to a forced hospitalization, which result in her losing custody of her two children and her father Jamie Spears being named temporary co-conservator over her estate.

Last month, Jamie Spears’ conservatorship was extended until the end of 2008. Spear and ex-husband Kevin Federline also reached a custody agreement, avoiding a messy trial set for August. Federline retained primary custody of the boys while Spears was granted more visitation rights.
