IRVINE, CA – July 14, 2005 – Vision Entertainment brings the 2005 XM Satellite Radio Hot Import Nights (HIN) tour to Seattle’s Stadium Expo July 30. HIN, presented by Valvoline Synpower, is the largest lifestyle custom car show in the nation and the only one of its kind that brings together all elements of youth and car culture in one night, including specialty cars that can only be viewed at HIN and an exclusive performance from DJ sensation the X-Ecutioners.
Highlighted cars include the WELD S14 straight from Japan, which will only be seen exclusively at HIN. Also featured at the show will be the Blazing 7’s, consisting of the nation’s top 3 RX-7’s from Jay Laub, Tony Yeh and Les Wong. Hundreds of the hottest custom cars compete for prizes in several categories inside the show. HIN costs $25 for general admission and $55 to enter the car competition.
In Seattle, the Mazda Electronic Music Stage steams up with the X-Ecutioners, the team of hip-hop turntablists known for their hip-hop ingenuity. Having collaborated with the likes of Linkin Park and the Beat Junkies, and after past appearances on “Saturday Night Live” and the MTV Music Awards, the X-Ecutioners combine their talents with HIN’s Glow-Go Girls for an exclusive event performance. Live on the Pepsi Street Motion Stage, show-goers can witness the latest dance craze of crumping in its finest form, as well other performances from local and national artists in the urban community, including DJs and b-boy battles, all competing for the Pepsi trophy. In addition to live entertainment and specialty cars, event attendees have the opportunity to meet Ursula Mayes, Miss HIN 2004-2005 and 2004 Maxim “Hometown Hottie” finalist.
