Janeway Towing of Conshohocken, PA, contracted with Mr. Shrinkwrap to shrink wrap a 45’ Freightliner tour bus that was recently involved in a major accident. With the accident investigation ongoing, the insurer wanted to have the vehicle preserved for further investigation into the cause of the accident.

Protection from the elements during storage

With various parts of the vehicle damaged and several internal components being susceptible to damage from the elements, the insurer was faced with few options to maintain the integrity of the vehicle for further investigation other than expensive indoor storage or shrinkwrapping. When Jamie Dougherty of Janeway Towing was instructed to preserve the vehicle, he remembered seeing a Mr. Shrinkwrap mobile team at the site of another customer of his, an international equipment manufacturer, and said “I know the guys over there and if you’re good enough for them to have you do all of their work, you must be good, so that’s why I called Mr. Shrinkwrap”.
