The United Nations Foundation and World Heritage Alliance Educate Viewers on Sustainable Tourism in the Upcoming “Think Green” Edition of Designing Spaces

Sustainable tourism is a term that even the most environmentally-conscious consumers may not understand. In the upcoming “Think Green” edition of Designing Spaces, viewers will learn what sustainable tourism is, and how to participate in this spectacular initiative that supports natural and cultural treasures around the world. Special guest Erika Harms, Executive Director of Sustainable Development at the United Nations Foundation, will take a tour in the Yucatán region of Mexico to demonstrate the ways in which tourists can help to protect and preserve natural and cultural values for future generations.
